Here are the couple of questions I have for everyone.

1. How many of you would be interested in having me out to do some driver coaching at track day events? (I can ride in the right seat giving you driver tips and I can also give you hot laps showing you the proper way to drive a Camaro FAST!!!)
2. How many of you would follow me if I did a video series on a blog that gives driving tips on and off race tracks?
3. How many of you would follow me if I did a video series on new after market Camaro products that I took to race tracks testing them and giving my feedback on how well they really perform?
4. What other things would you be interested in me covering if I had a Camaro Performance Driving Blog/video?

Btw....I am still working on my 2011 racing plans! At this point it looks good I will be back in the #6 Sunoco Camaro racing in Grand-Am.

I am a huge, huge fan of the Camaro and I really want to share my knowledge on what I have learned about the Camaro as I have raced it and done most of the development work on the Camaro Race Car.

Cheers!

Definately #2 and #3. As far as #1, well, I would love to do that but I live out in the middle of no where so sometimes the drive is a little much, but if it were in the summer, I would try.

Rev matching the manual can be a hot topic... Like to hear your thoughts.

Power shifting thru the gears, or no lift shifting, would be a good topic for a pro to cover.

When brakes are not your friend in an emergency (ehh maybe save that for hands-on training)

How to merge safely..... traffic control..... driving in rain/snow/ice, or... what to do when you find yourself sideways

You might throw in a story or 2 about instances in your career when you puckered, or, what I like to call, "How I know there really is a God!"

#1 unfortunately I could not take advantage of this
#2 definitely, especially putting track experience on the road (think defensive driving, adapting to weather conditions, etc., not street racing)
#3 Hell yes!
#4 pretty much anything that improves or compliments the performance of the car. Everyday drivers that double as track cars without killing the bank could be interesting
Just throwin out my $.02
Good luck with series!

Racing Brake has lightweight rotors for the car now... CTS-V brakes have been used on the car as well. There are other brake upgrades, but they get pricey.

How and where the car can shed a few pounds.

Which is more important for a corner carver wannabe? On track training, or parts upgrades?

..... I have more

Well MisterCamaro69....I like all the ideas you are coming up with.

Let me give you one quick answer to the driver training vs car upgrades.

Driver training is by far the most important thing. I will say when you get proper driver training, you must upgrade your brakes. That is almost always the weakest link to driving a car hard and fast! There is nothing worse than loosing your brakes, just when you start wanting to push is harder to go faster....
