We did have a nice autumn this year.

Finally got out late this morning, neighbour plowed the driveway, the dirt road was done last night. Secondary highways are a bit scary, but once I hit the #2, clear sailing!

That's the first time since my parents moved out 16 years ago that I've ever been snowed in. Wouldn't have mattered what vehicle was there, except a pick up truck, it wouldn't have moved.

She's gonna need a bath though!!

It was snowing here in SLC yesterday; enough to cover the grass but not the roads. The mountains were getting pounded though. Not looking forward to more..

Best regards,

I have a bit of a scary drive home Sunday....should pay attention to the weather before driving to Calgary as I only had my all seasons on not my winters

And here I just cut the grass yesterday!

I grew up in Calgary, don't miss the weather in the least.
Heck I remember trick or treating with a few inches of snow on the ground.
At least you get "Chinooks", the snow will probably be gone soon.

The Chinooks haven't been as significant over the past few years. Its been decent this week, snow still on the ground, but the roads are clear, more snow today and on the weekend!!

You get those days on end rains...not sure which is worse, but at least you can still drive your car!!! Was out that way last year and hit the last big winter storm while in Tofino! Crazy weather but cool to watch!!!

I've had my winter tires on for like a month now just waiting for the snow to hit. What I'd give for even a little bit of snow.

We're lucky here in Victoria, we actually get less rain than Vancouver.
Heck, at least you don't have to shovel rain
My Camaro is a garage queen she's only insured from April to September

Come up here and enjoy ours. All excited for it at the beginning of the season, within a few weeks, it gets old....

Very true on shoveling rain...lol, nice one! Lucky car, but it is kinda (well a lot) of fun in the winter as well....

No doubt about that, we have snow from anywhere to 4-6 months out of the year. I just don't want to prematurely wear out my tires more than they need to be. It's finally getting cold enough to start snowing.
