The Holiday Inn just down the street had some rooms on hold until this past Sunday. They aren't holding rooms for us anymore, but they should have some available and they should honor our group rate. Here's their info:

If anyone is still looking for lodging, I got a great deal thru priceline this morning. We are staying at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham on 1604. It is right down the road from the host hotel and in between all the events. It's an all suite hotel and I got it thru priceline for $55 a night.

For those who are going I-35E south of I-20 in Desoto, there have been several Police in last few days running radar. be careful thru there. Also there is bit of a gas war at the Ovilla rd exit. in Red Oak. Exxon has it for 3.34 Regular unleaded, there is a Racetrack and a Walmart at 3.32 See yall down in Selma on Fri.
