Night fury rwhp expectations?
I just ordered a night fury cam from lethal ill be getting it installed and tuned by southwest speed in Albuquerque soon. What rwhp numbers should I expect out of a 91 tune? Thing is my buddy has a tsp 229/236 cam and he had it tuned elsewhere and only put down 440 rwhp that seems pretty low to me for that cam. Or are my expectations for my NF to high as I hope to be in the 470s.

All depends on he dyno and the operator. The best measure is the after vs. before gain on your car from the same dyno and operator. That is what you are going to feel and that gain is what will give you the quicker acceleration you are after. The final number is just a number that we all tend to put too much emphasis on. With that said I'll guesstimate that with full bolt- ons your cam will get you in the range of 450 - 480 rwhp.
Also your altitude out there in the high desert can be an issue. Higher altitudes equal lower HP all other things being equal.

Good luck and welcome to the "cammed" club. It is great. You will really like the results and be able to feel the value regardless of the final numbers. The sound at idle is almost worth it alone. Enjoy!

My car put down 475rwhp and 458 torq. You will love this cam if it's tune right.
