How to adjust lifters?
On old chevys you adjust hydralic lifters by one turn. But how to adjust hydralics lifters on newer engines, like mine L99? I have installed a new COMP Cams MK189-301-13 kit but nothing written how to adjust the rocker arms/lifters!

As far as I know you adjust them the same way. Zero lash and then 1/4 turn to a full turn. Everybody will tell you something different but I always do a 1/4 turn because if you go to far you could hang a valve open and you don't want that.

No adjustment available on stock rockers, if you want to adjust preload use custom length pushrods to do so.

Yeah those look like non adjustable rockers so you should be fine just torqueing them down.

In some videos they pull down 22 lb/ft (after zero lash).

Preload is engineering into the valvetrain. There is no adjustment aside from getting a pushrod length checking tool, and buying pushrods with the amount of preload desired. These are not adjustable rockers like they had in the older chevy 350 engines.

Good info here. These arent like odler small blocks. The ls factory rocker will just torque down to spec once the vavle is in the closed position.

The LS platform uses the GM zero net lash system. There is no adjustment. Preload is based on pushrod length and/or the type of lifter. 22ftlbs and done.

So correct is to set to zero lash and then turn to 22 lbft? (I'm using the pushrods in the kit). Nothing more?

Correct. As long as you have the pushrods that came in the kit.
