Third brake light disable?
Camaro brethren;
I just installed a ZL1 spoiler and obviously my stock window brake light is no longer desired. is there any way to disable the third brake light in the back window? |

I'd leave it. Unique looking at night. Followed a friend from a show one night.

I want to disable mine too. The guys at work are giving me grief about it looking stupid with the spoiler light too.

I think it's LEDs, so removing the bulb may mot be practical, but I'd think you should be able to unplug it.

I have the high wing spoiler and have been wanting to remove the factory window brake light too.. Would like to remove it all together but it looks like it's built in to the car.. What's the best way to get rid of it?

Fold down your rear seat. on the passengers side of the car you will have to pull the the plastic panel back , theoneunder the 1/4 window. the plug for the 3rd brake light is right there. 2 wire plug..only one in that area..takes about 30 min..

I've been wondering if the 2014 package tray even has that light there...if not, could you disconnect the wiring & just swap the tray for one without it? I plan on adding a gm dovetail spoiler & don't need 4 lights
