Lol light bolt on gt500 huh? Lol with the converter UNLOCKED I'm shooting for upper 600s.. I say unlocked because we are doing the street tuning right now and I can already tell the converter clutch can't hold. Looking for low 700s after its fixed.. this combo is not new and makes 770s in 6 speed cars.. I'm going to Bradenton and running the car then coming home and taking the converter out and sending it in..
Here is a good idle vid http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?list=UU...wQ%26index%3D1 I'm running meth and so far we are to about 15#s at PART throttle runs. With the meth the fuel pump will be fine.

700 rwhp in an automatic with a converter has got to be a very low 10 sec, to high 9-sec ride. Can't wait to see your slips, best of luck to you.

Do you have anything against a BAP? That should meet your fuel requirements.

What brand converter are you running? Sounds like you're blowing through the converter. I would contact Chris at Circle D for a mutli disc converter or see what he recommends. I ran his 5C in my TA with a stroker motor and loved it.

3600 was a bit loose or the converter clutches not rated for the hp/tq? I bet the stock converter would not have been too bad.

Holy crap that sounds bad azz. Curious once everything is fully setup what you will set for power. You should be able to set some good numbers in the 1/4 as long as you can hook that bad boy up. So I assume no factory warrantee. LOL

I'm going to get it fixed in the next week or two.. this sucks because I would have been loading it to put ona trailer today to head for bradenton.. I might do a boost a pump at first but that is notva ultimate solution. The car is moving enough air according to the logs to be making in the 850+hp range (crankshaft) so a real fuel system and maybe a forged shortblock are in its future. . My goal is to run as fast as I can with the stock blower so I'm going to do what I need to do.. for right now new converter and a bap will get it moving and to the track..
As of right now the car is making 16-17 pounds of boost with every bolt on and the meth is keeping the inlet temps in the blower hat 10degree above ambient. . I CANT say enough about how Good Chad at C.B.I has been about squeezing the power out of this thing. The custom grind I put in here has went in several of his other centri blower cars and made big power but I was skeptical about a cam with such mild specs for this build. The car idles at 750 rpm and drives like a champ (minus the stall not holding under wot) I have the blower at max drivable speed at 6500 and am commanding the car to shift at 62-6300..
