How to know if I'm getting a good price?

Generally speaking, how much should I expect a dealer come off the msrp in order to know I am getting the best price on a car? I understand there isn't a lot of markup on Camaros but a ball park number would be helpful to gauge whether a dealer is serious. Thanks!

I would say shop around. Find the dealer that will give you the best price on a specific car.

Shop around and be aggressive in what you offer, the worst they can do is say no. I recently bought a 1LT that the dealer came down $2700 off msrp and then I had several incentives on top of that.

As long as you are happy with the price, it's a good number.

So is getting Invoice pricing on a 2013 2SS RS good? I also got to use the $1380 on my GM Card as well as the general $1000 off that Chevy is offering. Ended up with a nav system I didn't really want, but I don't have to wait for production and get to pick the car up on Monday - black with inferno orange stripe/interior. Can't wait.

You can go to Edmonds online and build / price up what ever you want and see MSRP & invoice. That wil give you a good ball park to work with then check incentives for your area and anything else you may qualify for. Then shop around if you have a selection or are willing to travel a bit if you live rural like I do.....

Good luck hunting!

Find out which chevy dealer in your area does the absolute largest amount in sales. They will be under the gm supplier pricing, because they get HUUUGE bonuses from milestones met in sales.

I agree with your post. Edmunds is a good site to visit when shopping for a vehicle.
