LUMEN LED License Plate Lights
Anyone have any experience with these
http://www.carid.com/2011-chevy-cama...-10269825.html ? I'm looking at the PlaZma 400 lumen bulb. FYI, I'm not satisfied with AAC's license plate LEDs. Thanks! |

I'm really interested in hearing others thoughts on this item as well....bought some cheap LEDs off Amazon and bulb kept flickering so swapped the original bulbs back in. But I do miss that clean LED look.

Anything other than white can get you pulled over.

Well, I am only going with the white (6k) ones so color is irrelevant. I just want to know about the quality of these and if they are good!?

I am interested as well. Depending on how bright, I wonder if you would be able to use these in the rear lights as well? I would love to get brighter reverse lights.

After posting earlier, I remember that I was in a thread on these lights earlier in 2013. This is it; they used cheap $5 leds from Amazon. I must say, I switched out my interior and trunk lights to the 45 I think and they are super bright. I know not what your original question was but just another option. I have yet to do my reverse lights.

Is there anyone with these that can shed light on the quality? Ready to pull the trigger but afraid to jump and I have the same bad experience (individual LEDs flickering).

Ensure that whatever leds you purchase, they are the same wattage/conversion for the original bulbs. I have not used these particular bulbs in my car, still stock. However, I have restored a few pinball machines from the 90's and really used them to make the playfield pop! Since it's a standard 6/12v going to it, any led should be acceptable. I don't know if I'd like to bring that much attention to my license plate.... |

Will do! Went ahead and pulled the trigger today so I'm assuming I should have them within 7 business days. I"ll respond back once I get them and put them in.
