As long as you stayed on the roads. That's funny...

Here's a couple shots from Mobile. These are downstairs so it's all buttoned up now. The Navigator wanted the Tracking handle which I also wanted but during the flight he has all the screws out except one. I took it out and all I got was a picture handing it to him at Brookley Field. You can see the hole in the table where it came out of. I fired all the systems up one more time for pictures before I tore it all out.

My dad told me once that when he was in the army, I think on the way back from Korea in 1969 or so, they stopped over in Japan and while on the runway, in a commercial jet, were strictly instructed not to open the blinds and look out. They did of course anyway and there was a then very top secret SR-71.

Yeah, and that's correct when I said Korea in 1969. Somehow he got very lucky and never made it to Vietnam. I kind of think I might not be here had it been different.

I'm sure everyone understands completely. Maybe next time, Jack Daniel's in February-ish should be next event.

My GRANDFATHER flew on the B52 when it was brand new and if they stay in service until 2040 I will be 57 years old. That is incredible.

I know!!! We just ran out of time for those who wanted to tour the ship!! Good news is, they have one up in Huntsville at the Space and Rocket Center so we can get that photo up there!

Well. This was Alabama Camaros first meet. I think our plan is to do something like this once a quarter. Also, Camaro5 fest, Fbody Gathering Atlanta, and Vettes for Vets at Talladega will all me next late Spring/early Summer and we'll have groups participate in those together.

Check out my signature for a link to the Facebook page.

And since you are in N Alabama, I think the Rocket City guys get together more frequently. You could join their goup too. Just ask about that on the Facebook page.
