$32,795 for a 4WD Z71 Crew Cab Long Box with employee pricing. Not bad.

Is this a good indicator that year end incentives might be decent for these trucks? Would suck if they only budge like 500 - 1000 while doing this huge discounts on full size trucks.

Again, I'm sure they price the full size trucks so high in the first place so they can offer those "amazing" discounts. MSRP to MSRP, the Silverado is around 8 to 10 grand more expensive. You can't tell me it cost 8 grand more to produce a crew cab 4x4 Silverado versus a crew cab 4x4 Colorado....can it???

Ya that's what I was thinking. I know I will probably wait for more rebates but by that time then the diesel will be coming out, decisions, decisions.

Word. They blew it with the price. It'll be discontinued in 2 years which is too bad.

35K will get you a Z71 with 4x4 fairly loaded. Get a Z71 Silverado loaded and it's quite a difference. The price is fairly competitive as is the MPG, now just wait and see the quality. These three things will determine the success

Great Link and glad to see it's offered right up front. www.gmsupplierdiscount.com I had no idea you could do this one online.

Looks like I can get a fully decked out Z71 2wd for 30k

Got some MPG numbers for you .....
GM said today that the Colorado and Canyon with the 3.6-liter V-6 engine -- expected to be the volume model -- will be rated at 18 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway, for a combined rating of 21 mpg. The rating applies to two-wheel-drive versions.

The four-wheel-drive versions are rated 17 mpg city/24 highway/20 combined, GM said.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. That makes it out to sound like the Tacoma is a better truck which is not the case.

Im on a popular Colorado site and nobody is saying that.

Resale on Tacomas is ridiculous, and for good reason, they are good trucks. Colorado is going to have to prove itself, the MPGs are nice and all but let's see how they hold up.
