Droid Incredible Vs. Droid X

It's time to upgrade my Verizon phone but I can not decide if I want the Droid Incredible by HTC or the Droid X by Motorola. Cost is not a deciding factor because Verizon is offering me both phones for the same price; $100.

I am turning to my C5 family for opinions.

If you love your iPhone, or your 4G Evo, that's great, keep it to yourself. I get a 22% discount on my bill through my employer so I am not interested in switching to AT&T, Sprint, ETC.

Thanks

Doesn't one have a slider keyboard and both have virtual keyboards? I think there's a difference in camera resolution too... Guess it's up to you depending on what's most important.

If it comes down to slider vs. virtual keyboard, get the slider.
I have the Samsung Behold and hate the touch everything. Granted, it's pressure-sensitive touch, but it's still pretty bad.

I've been looking too.. Son has the X, told me to get the Droid2, said it's a better version of the x. Looking again I think both of the above are virtual. I like my slider.

Neither has a slide out key board. The original Droid and Droid 2 have slide out key boards. The X and Incredible have virtual keyboards and the X has swype feature.

They both have an 8 mega pixel camera & 720P video.

The specs are pretty similar. One difference is The Incredible has a 3.7 inch display and the X has a 4.3 inch display

Droid 2 is a better version of the original Droid. The Droid X is an all-new phone.

DroidX all the way. Love mine. Came from a Blackberry Tour and the X is amazing compared to that. No more battery pulls!!

I probably wasn't much help, I voted for both!

There's another HTC droid coming, by the way-- should be right inbetween the Incredible and X size wise... same body as the EVO 4G... that and the Samsung Galaxy S variant...

My friend has the X and that thing is a brick! Way too big. My room mate has the incredible and the battery sucks! I have the iphone and love it haha! So best case scenario Verizon gets the iphone next year!

There are more differences under the hood. The X has a faster GPU and CPU than the incredible. The incredible comes with HTC sense which is just fabulous where as the X comes with a toned down version of motoblur. The Droid 2 is spotted just below the X with a smaller screen, slider keyboard and slightly slower processor.

All will receive Android 2.2. The incredible and the Droid 2 already have it but the X will follow shortly in September.

If you can wait a few months then 4G Android phones will be out this year to match Verizon's roll out of LTE.

Anything you want to know Android... I can help ya out.

There is an underlying flaw in the baseband which causes the phone to search for a stronger tower when it isn't necessary. It has since been corrected in an update. Also, root and get setcpu and you are golden. If you don't watch it the incredible will sync a shit load of data in the background. I fixed it on day one nd I cannuse my Incredible for three days without a charge.

iPhone is a typical Apple product is all I will say.

I technically voted for the X because I have larger hands and it fits me better but I actually have an Incredible (X wasn't out when I upgraded).
