Do you know what type of improvement the struts/springs provide over stock SS units?

Not trying to sound like a dick, but if you want to see what difference they provide, look at the lap times of any 2010 Camaro SS and compare it to that of the 1LE.

The tough questions is how much of that is the tires VS the shocks and struts?

The damping on the 1LE is significantly better than the improved damping that first appeared on the 2012 SS. Is the performance gain all in the damping and coils? No matter how good the tires, if you can't keep them planted on the track surface they don't help much. I give the nod to the improved 1LE suspension.

I already have the pedders street 1 bush kit, eibach sways, Pfadt STB and pedders end links. My question is whether swapping the current SS stock strut/spring combo for the 1LE would provide additional cornering or be a waste of time. I'll poke around the tech forums that's probably a better place to ask the question.
