Sorry guys I did not have the chance to talk to Ed and Vince today like I wanted to because I was slammed with work. But I was waiting to hear from Vince for sure what time he wanted to leave LC. When I talked to him the other day he said he will go thru Carrizozo and didn't want to go to Owl. I also want to hit Owl because I have always heard good things from there but haven't got the chance to try it. But I wanted to see what time he would be in Carrizozo so we can work backwards to see when to hit Owl, and still time it right to get Vince in the Camarovan down to Ruidoso. I know Ed liked the leaving at noon which is why I wanted to get a hold of him to see if he wanted to leave earlier.

Owl is only an hour from Abq and they open at 9am. As of Sunday there was about 22 rooms total booked in Ruidoso. I was going to try and get a for sure headcount but was thinking that might be 50+ people. So might want to give us more of 1.5 - 2hr time to eat. So being at Owl by 11am like you guys said is what I was thinking if Vince was leaving at noon, to make sure we can make it in Carrizozo on time which is only about 45min from San Antonio.

We have met at Hotel Albuquerque (800 Rio Grande Blvd NW) for several other events before. There are two gas stations right near there so everyone can make sure to gas up before and it is right by the freeway. It is also closer to the center of town which might be easier for people to meet up at. If we are hitting Owl at 11am should meet up at 9am and be on the road no later than 10am.

I was still definitely trying to get Owl worked into the trip I just got caught up with work as Mondays and Tuesdays are some of the hardest days of the week for the USPS. Apologize for the delay, that is my fault.

okay... Sorry I just hate all this last minute plans BS.. I wanted everyone to know that I personally was not going to just wait around all day and leave ABQ at noon...

Not trying to step on any toes, but we need to plan things with more time for everyone to make their plans.

Next up I will be asking about plans for CamaroFest

Would really like to know the plans for that as well. I think me, Eddie, melody are at the host hotel but everyone else missed out....

Great so ill meet ya'll at the Owl at 11am. Don't be offended if you see me eating already by the time you get there, I'm a big boy and 1hr. drive with no breakfast will be killer. Especially on my cheat day
