Other reports have been better for the Camaro.....

and the only way to have true comparison is to do the test at the same time at the same location. Weather and track surface play a huge part in those times. The thing is though, I am not buying my 1LE to be a good drag car! This is a road race tool, and a very good one. So far, in every test that I have found, the 1LE beats the Boss, and even the Laguna Seca version, on a road course. Final thought, for the $6K difference in price, you can go plenty faster in a straight line!

Since the 1LE is a track pack (comparable to the basic mustang with the track pack) and the boss is an engine upgrade; you'll have to compare the boss to the Z28 - good luck with that

No you don't! The 1LE beats the Boss Laguna Seca at what they were intended to do, go fast on road courses.

Not unexpected. The Camaro is heavier, and has less horsepower. The Camaro is about 4% slower in the quarter. The Camaro weighs about 5% more, and has 4% less horsepower, so its actually not a bad showing by the Camaro.

Exactly, their engine upgraded boss can't even keep up with our track pack.
Heck the gt500 only beats the ZL1 for the first lap, then the brakes fade.
The Z28, our engine upgrade is going to wipe the floor with most cars except
maybe the ZR1 and 2012+ Nissan GTR class.

Sure do Michael. Here are the links:

http://www.caranddriver.com/features...una-seca-video

and

Mustang: 3:02.8

Camaro: 3:01.5

Different days, a year apart, but there is the results I refer to. Weather could have played a role, but for the price difference, it should not have even been close!

I personally think the SLP Zl1 with the Eibach swaybars and renamed pro kit street kit looks tighter.

John Davis pukes so badly when he talks that I can't stand his narratives on Motorweek. They need to arrest the writer for all the bad puns too. BUT, I do love all the beauty shots of my favorite cars in motion, so yes.....I still watch.

OH, and will somebody throw away the baby blue wind breaker John has been wearing for the last 6 years on every other show???
