I use the battery tender and keep the harness
that comes with it on the battery all year. the
harness has a quick disconnect plug on it and
when in use u can run it threw the trunk tub ,
there r a couple of plastic hole plugs in there .

My question is - people who use the battery tender jr. does the light on the charger ever go to green? I kept my battery tender jr on for about 2 days but it only stayed on red and never went to green.

The battery tender light will be:
red when charging
flashing red when not hooked up properly
flashing green when almost full charge
steady green when fully charged and maintaining

I have used a battery tender on bikes, cars and trucks and love it

Yes i understand the colors and flashing/steady patterns. I have used the battery tender jr on my bike in the past but my question is how long does it take to get to green on the Camaro? days, weeks? or does it ever get to green?

A Battery Tender Plus can take up to 2 days to go green, I would think a Jr. could take up to 3 days but no longer then 4 days......you might want to think about getting the Plus Battery Tender for your Camaro.

There's jump start connection points in the engine compartment, You can use those.

I connected mine direct to the battery in the trunk, never had a problem. Most I have seen my junior not green was 3 days and that was when I first connected it. The car sat for a while before my first connection. Now I bounce my tender around to other batteries in the garage and when it's time for the car, it takes less then a day to go green. I put each battery on the tender about 4 days at a time then switch.

if you store inside yes, unheated or outside then you should IMO. before I started using the tender I had multiple dead batteries. Never again!

When I initially put mine on it takes a while, several hours, once it goes to green it goes on and off like it is supposed to. I set it up and check it off and on for 3-4 hours then just check it the next day to verify it went to green, it always has guessing a couple days. I know I check it once every couple weeks during the winter to make sure it is green and it has always been. wouldn't sweat it.
