I hate O2 sensors!!! HELP!

Alrighty I need help on how to get those damn o2 sensors off my 2014 camaro SS> So today after wasting a half of tank of gas and 100 bucks to remove my cats to put some JBA hi flows, the shop, a torch, a 2 foot breaker bar, and pb blaster couldnt get the damn o2 sensors off. Whats the best way to get them off. I was thinking to put pb blaster on them every 6 hours for the next couple days. Also all of them did move a quarter of a turn before they got stuck. And this was on all 4 and I am not in the mood buying 4 brand new o2 sensors on a car with only 3000 miles on it. Any word of advice would be awaesome. Thanks!!!!

They've always been a pita to take off. I did mine with wd40 and a long crestent wrench. The rears were harder but nothing compared to yours.

Years ago I did this...start the car and warm the engine/exhaust a bit, turn off the engine. Soak the threads with PB blaster. Let it cool for about 30 min. repeat again and then try to loosen it. The goal is to get that PB Blaster in there as much as possible with the heating and cooling. The torch should make this a lot easier. Good Luck

My new 2014 1LE had 2 that were stripped with 200 miles and 1 week on the car , that's $100.00 I'll never have again . FYI I have always used Kano Kroil . Sounds like even if they come out they would be FUBAR ,YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST BITE THE BULLET and buy new O2's. This is not a cheap hobby, if you want to play you got to pay . I bought a $10 o2 socket from autozone... through it on an air impact and they came off in seconds...

not sure if it was the smartest thing to do, but nothing broke and all the wires were fine.

This is a good indication that they are going to come out stripped.

Sorry to say this OP

I was hoping there not going to be stripped, when I attempt to take them off after sucking with liquid wrench for a couple days, Im going to make sure there fully warmed up and do it as fast as possible.

You're going about it the right way ,now the only thing you can do is put a O2 socket or a 22mm wrench and force one out any maybe clean up the threads with a file.

That's what I do when I'm in your position.

I used a little heat on the bung nut (bernz o matic torch) and they came out very easy. Car was two years old at the time.

Yes, if the threads have not been damaged yet. You can also hit it with some WD40 after it is warm. Use just enough heat to warm the bung but not the o2 sensor.
