Looking for Stock SS Chrome wheels - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm love the looks of the stock SS wheels but with a black car I want to get chrome. I see there are exchange wheels I can get but I have seen issues with striping and plating stock wheels.The polishing process leaves waves on the flat surfaces. I can get after market but all I see at reasonable prices are 9" wide. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure chrome wheels were never offered on the 5 gen Camaro. Polished Aluminum were, but this is a far cry from chrome.

Ture enough.....the STOCK wheels never have come in chrome.......THE why to do it would find one of the company's that do exchanges fo OEM wheels. OR you could buy some aftermarket repros that are chrome......but the repro's are not the same quality.....so go with the chromed OEM.

I just got mine done......and they look GREAT. I happen to have found a local Discount Tire that deals with a couple chromers in Cal. so I didn't even have to deal with the shipping, THEY took care of that......and the price of the Chromed OEM's (with the exchange) was less the buying a set of Chrome REPRO's......and I needed new tires, so I got it all done at one time......in and out in about an hour!

OR you can take your polished OEM center caps and have them chromed, that what I am having done. here is a place that does the wheels and the center caps.
