need help..

I have a 2010 SS L99, and I'm looking into getting a cam finally. I don't know the direction I should take and am hoping to get some insight from those who are more knowledgeable than myself and have already been through this.

I have always wanted to get the night fury for various reasons(drivability, quality, HP gain, and it sounds spectacular) but to get the night fury I would have to do the ls3 conversion which is more costly. I have recently read that going with a VVT cam would be cheaper, and I would get the same drivability, sound, quality,etc..

My car has 70k miles on it and is my DD. I already have LT headers and a tune. With that being said, what are yalls thoughts about this. Should I go ahead and do the Ls3 conversion or not even worry about it and go VVT. Thanks in advance.

How much stall converter are you running? It doesn't work out to just recommend a camshaft without knowing your surrounding mods. If you want a max effort camshaft the VVT-4 I'd bet money on easy next to any L99 camshaft on the market. But often times selecting a camshaft for your goals trumps just going off max dyno hp. 100+hp gains from the VVT-3 & VVT-4 are easy & engine dyno proven. The question is how much camshaft do you want & what mods do you have around it!
