Ace Custom Steering - Group Buy? Carlos from Ace Custom Steering stopped by the Forum today to show us a model of his Camaro custom steering wheel. A bunch of us got a chance to touch and feel it and check it out. It's pretty sweet - very nice feel with good quality workmanship in leather. Carlos will give us a discount on a group buy of at least 6. Let's talk about it at our next meet!

These steering wheels are pretty slick. My bank account needs a rest, but I guarantee I'll be part of the group buy whenever everyone's ready to go. I really like the customizable options they're willing to provide with the leather.

I'm not sure what my plans are for this evening, but I'll see if I can get out to the meet & greet at Cabela's in Buda tonight...

Looks like Carlos beat me to it. The lower portion of the wheel has a straight section on either side of center that will make for a comfortable grip for long distance driving. Color options are pretty cool, too.

This steering wheel is actually pretty bad ass. I was surprised in that I wasn't expecting the nice feel of the leather and I honestly didn't know how that bottom edge was going to fit my hand. But, they did it right. I love the feel...and man, I'd LOVE to have one with blue leather to match my pin stripes on the exterior of the car. Not too much blue...but just enough.

+1... Dunno why it bugs me so much... but it just feels wrong to me the way they came from the factory... they just need to do the old switch-a-roo!!
