I think there were only like 120 on calipercovers.com. I did NOT upgrade the calipers on the car, just put the covers on. I was on vacation so sorry for long delay in response.

I got my Caliper Covers back in December right after I bought the car. I was looking for a paint kit and stumbled upon them. After seeing the video on how they're made of aircraft aluminum and they act as a heat sink to allow the brakes to operate 30 to 50% cooler, this was the way to go. So much easier than painting and the hardest thing is removing your wheels.

I highly recommend these.

I saw them on ebay after I got mine. I got mine from this link http://www.carid.com/2009-chevy-cama...mgp-91122.html

which is about as cheap as you'll find them. They exploded after SEMA earlier this year and I got mine before the show out there.

If you go to calipercovers http://www.calipercovers.com/_e/dept...010_Camaro.htm you'll be looking at $200 base price plus shipping. CarID may save you a little. I think I got mine for around $175 delivered back in Dec.

Also check this field test video done by the guy who invented the covers. Pretty impressive on what these do beside make your whees look good! http://www.calipercovers.com/_e/dept...010_Camaro.htm

You can order them without the bolts. They were put there to add some design to the covers, as they can look a bit plain without them in our opinion. It really depends on what is engraved on them. Some engravings require more space and we do not include the engraved bolts. We generally submit a couple mock-ups so the customer can decide on their own though.

Some people order them blank with JUST the bolts, and add their own vinyl decal to them.

Very rarely do we get orders for a completely plain cover. It just looks too plain.

Anyhow, if the OP has some hi res photos... I would love to put some on the website!

No man it dosent look bad in person but if ur thinkn to paint i would sugest to go for this cuz first if you paint the calipers after a while tha paint will chip and the caliper would look bad, bad this IF the paint will chip you could just taka them off and would still have a good lookng caliper it's just my opinion
