I've rented one, and I promise you that you can easily fry the tires off of that thing. Just make sure you turn everything off.

you can smoke them (it?) up to 3rd with the stock steel wheels.. the RS wheels w/ Pzero's require some usage of brakes..

IMO not worth it, esp when you have to clean the melted rubber off your car... a huge pain..

Use a line lock like this: http://sjmmanufacturing.com/cam_brk_2010.html Attempting to overpower your brakes only places additional stress on the driveline, engine. It also prematurely wears your brakes/rotors and increases the likelihood of warping the rotors.

Here's a video of Lingenfelter Performance's car using our line lock kit. http://sjmmanufacturing.com/forum/vi....php?f=10&t=20 Give them a call if you need any performance modification assistance.

Here's another video showing how it works: http://sjmmanufacturing.com/forum/vi....php?f=10&t=19

Good luck!

Im lucky to get a chirp out of mine as well (without the use of 'break' lol), but thats ooookay with me as Im running some brand new Toyo's. Dont really relish the idea of replacing the rubber yet.

If you floor it while taking a corner you can get them to light up without the break and in an Auto. I've fish tailed a few times with both tires smoking on some good fresh pavement. lol

I have a stock 2001 V6 with an automatic trans. I can smoke them with it so i would think you could in a 5th Gen.
