Dent on top of "hip"

have a hail dent on the top of the passanger side "Hip" right below the triangle side window. haven't tried yet but how accessable is that area from inside the car? was thinking about trying to push the dent out if I can get behind the pannel. was thinking maybe someone doing sound deandening or installing audio might have some knowledge about this. is it even worth trying. another option is PDR but wanted to save the cash if I can. thanks in advance

there was a PDR down on University and Beechurst in Morgantown- they fixed a place in my daughters car years ago but I do not know if they are still there. He may be able to tell you how to get to the panels.

Been years since I had to actually do any car business up there - seems like there would be more with all the students with cars up there

Once you get behind the panel, I know there is no sound deadner in that area.
Good luck

I'm wondering if you pop the plastic covers off from inside the trunk, you might have a clear shot to the hip area.

It might be possible. I doubt they double line that area. May have to remove the trunk lid and hinges though.

OK, talked to three different people that do it pricing ranging from 50 to 150 ish but before I take it to one of them for an estimate I am gonna craw back there in the next day or two and see if I can get to it. I am a big guy, someone could make alot of money recording me squeezing my fat arse in to that tiny back seat or trunk....LOL. like trying to squeeze a whale throu the eye of a needle

Probably have to drill a hole in the door jam, thats about the only way to get leverage. I had a dent in my drivers side quarter panel and had to drill a hope in my jam to remove the dent. Looks like new. The hole is plugged, looks factory.

Had the same thing in my previous SS, pdr guy pulled the rear wheel off, wheel well liner and drilled underneath to access the hip area. Plugged the drill hole and it was perfect. Good luck.
