Yea the one I have is pretty much the same. I got it from Ofer (member name, 2SSRS). It works fine for the dash, it's just too thick and hard (that's what she said) for the panel to sit as flush. If the tyco pipe is thinner than mine it may work. I'll send a picture when I'm home later.

Yup. It's just that small section that sits up too much. Catches my attention when getting in the car. I dont want to crack it by pushing down any further.

Found a pic of it on my phone:

Not sure how clear that looks hosted by Tapatalk.

My guess was correct. These can't be cut down into two usable pieces. It would have been nice if this shipment was the same as the last. To cut one down, you now need to take off half from each end.

The good news is that what we have can be cut down for the passenger side. The bad news is that we need to get additional pieces in for the driver side.

Hopefully we'll have more info in the next few hours.

Sorry if I'm not understanding, but what makes these unusable after being cut? I'm guessing we may be able to just order the measurements we need? My dash may be fine the way it is and I was thinking of maybe surrounding my door speakers with it.

By the way, I measured the dash and it looks like the passenger side is 35" and drivers 4". That's not exact end to end but it is as long as i think the light should be to leave room for the LEDs on the ends (I'd like someone to second that opinion though). Not sure if that helps any.

I just want my bendy pipes so I can play with them, I don't think that's asking too much

They have a feature built-in that makes them more reflective in the middle than at the ends.

Since you are not using these for the dash, I can ship them. Let me know!

How are things looking with the light pipes? Any new batches or a fix for the current batch?

stieger, I thought that was a secret?

The supplier has said that we can return these, or, use them. If you have ordered, please let us know what you want to do. I'll send out pm's on this, too.

What we have are 40" lengths of rigid and flexible pipes that, if required, can be trimmed down equally from both ends to keep the light output uniform.

The new parts will be made specifically for the two lengths required for the dash.

We are expecting new samples within the next week just to confirm everything.

Just what I'm doing with them is a secret
