Trans Am Body Kit

So I was browsing eBay this morning and came across this unique body kit for the Gen 5 Camaro.

I am not sure what I think about it overall, but I hadn't seen anything like this before. What do you guys think?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...item415c6d1026

PS- I am not considering this for myself, just wanted to share.

I like the lower portion of the front bumper and the BMW headlights (member Wylde1 (Build thread) did that headlight conversion) and then the side exit exhaust on the rear quarter panels. But that's about it, and the price tag isn't cheap either. Which is scary because the body kit is made out of fiberglass.

I like the look but $13K for an uninstalled, and likely "rough" mold of a body kit is ludicrous. You'll spend 8-10K to get it prepped, painted, and installed so that it looks right. STUPID.

I think it's great how every few weeks one of these threads about the trans am body kit pops up. lol In my opinion it's hideous.

I did a seach, but didn't find anything on this kit.

I agree for $13,000 the price is pretty steep, but there are parts of it that look pretty nice. It's definitely not for me, but I thought it was very different.

It's HOT!! But man... why would you guys want to make the Camaro another car? Be proud of that Camaro badge on that fender.
For that price, you can buy an older Trans Am; then you could make it nice. I mean... if you're willing to throw 13k on your car....

If you want to make your Camaro original and your own... then put your name on the seat covers or something...

Agreed and this kit is way over-priced and only "so-so" looking IMO.
