Can you tell if the cheesy black and white tape is actually hiding something new or is it just an attention grabber for a public photo op? Looks like nothing is new there to me.
A local dealer said today that their rep has confirmed the Z28 is going ahead and will be a 2012 but of course no specs. |

Great pics!!! Take a close look at the differences between the front tire to fender alignment on pic 4 'the chase car' and pic 2. Looks like the test cars are lowered and are sporting some really fat meats!

Did anyone else notice the first camaro in the 3rd picture appears to have an exhaust system hanging down abit more than it should? Or, is it not exhaust but something else? Just wonderin'.....

Tom, what did the door decals actually say or display, I cannot make them out and I do not think they are the Indy decals.

I think all these test mules will have different bits and pieces on each one that will be on the Actual Z28.. so you will have to add them all together to get an idea what the entire car will look like.. We still have not seen what spoiler they are planning to use on the back... But again, these are only test mules and things can and will change when the actual production car is shown.
Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.

Those are decoy bodies. Unless GM has changed what they do with their test mules, what you see is potentially not what you'll get in the showroom. It's a purposeful move to always keep you guessing. Like the front end cover might be covering up something they looked at years ago and have no plans of releasing, but covering it up gets people talking. It's even possible they're testing a completely different engine that isn't even designated for the Camaro. Once car could be testing suspensions and the other is testing transmissions or towing capacities...who knows for sure except GM?
It's good they're testing SOMETHING. And it keeps us occupied until the real deal shows up.

Probably just took the camo from a CTS-V and slapped it on a regular Camaro to get everyone freaking out
