Custom paint OTH, may also devalue the car. Custom is a personal choice and when you sell that means you need to find a buyer who also likes your artistic interpretation of "custom". That limits your potential customer base.
Thanks

I had my car totally repainted, sanded all the way down and everything.

Zero orange peel, definitely worth the money.

Thought this was a great idea to maybe protect the wimpy paint...... thoughts???
My paint shop said the clear coat is too thin on mine to sand it...
I'm used to my basketball texture now anyway.

How many coats of clear? I'm interested in this, and maybe custom stripes also.

I just painted, cleared, wet sanded and buffed my '69 Mustang and for what it's worth, you can't put a price on that sort of labor. The above price is definitely a deal.

HOLY CRAP!!!! That guy not only put in some hours, but his car looks amazing!

I have a bit of orange peel too. It sucks. I don't have the knowledge to do it alone or money to pay for it.
