Anybody order 10/13/08 still not have car?

ordered 10/15, called customer service, was told that the car has been built and is awaiting transport, black 2SS/RS. Dealer has not told me anything.

Ordered 10/16. I had been told the car passed QC 3 weeks ago and was bayed. Finally heard today that it is on the train!!

Yep, ordered 10/18, finally moved to 3000 4/16 then 3400 5/18 then nothing. Seems like a lot of us early preorders are in the same slow boat here. Follow all the others progress like the obsessive compulsive whacko trying to fugure out a ryme or reason to this goofy madness. Everytime it looks like GM is doing it a certain way they prove me wrong.
Oh well, I guess I caught a bug only my new camaro will cure.

Ordered RJT 2SS/RS on 10/17. Just moved up to 4100 today. Hope it's not to long now.

EDIT: and the bad part is... GM acknowledges that I ordered on 10/13 (it's printed on the Sangyup Lee Camaro picture I received in the welcome kit)... but does not seem to care. They have built like 14,000 of these beasts. People are driving them right now that have no loyalty to GM, and didn't even pre-order.

We can only hope that bankruptcy will force GM to begin to view business practice through the eyes of the customer. At least the engineers and designers are legit.... because any other car would not be worth this headache.

Yes, it's appearing that the pre-order really didn't mean that much to most people, seeing as how people that did not pre-order are getting their cars in nearly the same time or quicker. That doesn't make sense and should no way be like that. What is GM thinking? this is not customer loyalty. I thought the whole idea of pre-ordering was that you would get it before it officially went on sale and follows the "first come, first serve" philosophy.

I guess we should be happy we got to order, Obama motors wont be making them for long. Camaro will become a hybrid plugin gutless green mobile, by the sounds of the press.

3800 since 5/6. Still in QC for no particular defect. It's just there hangin around keeping everyone else company. I can see holoding cars there that have or may have something wrong but John Fitzpatrick said there is no red flag on mine. It just got sucked into QC land. I will be surprised if all those cars are shipped by the 15th like he told me they would.

And yes, I ordered Oct 13,2008. Priority 1 at my dealer, number 2 got his car last week and they have sold two LTs. Meanwhile PRIORITY 1 sits in a lot in Canada. WTF?

Order 10/15/08 and still no car. Hopefully it is being built in the next week or so.

Ordered first day, built 3/26, bayed for last 9 1/2 weeks, got invoiced last Friday, said 6/1 delivery but later found out most Area 51 cars were invoiced on the same day, found out today she's headed across the border and hopefully will be here by the end of the week, not holding my breath, though. 2nd allocation went in 6 weeks after mine and is due in now!
