Auto is the way to go. You can read the paper, text message people, eat and drink at the same time and still change the radio station.

I have never really driven a stick either, but I ordered a 2SS IBM RS/Sunroof Manual, @ 4800 currently.

It just didn't feel right getting an automatic Camaro. Not the mention you lose 26 HP with the L99.

Lol, I wouldn't know... I've never had a car with actual horsepower... Mine still runs off of a crank start with a push!

Plus with Auto you can put it in Manual and get a manual feel. With Manual there is no Auto switch. So you are getting best of both worlds with Auto. Common sense, go with the Auto.

I am just tired of people saying a true muscle car is with Manual. Bunch of Bull Shit.

From what people are saying the tapshift is more or less a joke...

I WASNT SURE EITHER

I was not sure about the manual at first either but it was the only one available,i was in the right place at the right time and i was in love........ It has been 10 years since i drove my last stick, and i leaned to drive on my dads 68 camaro.you don't forget.....i think a automatic would have been a waist. What a blast this car really puts it all out i love to drive it ,if want to cruse get a auto if you want to drive get a stick I bought the 2SS are they having to special order them? i know there is only one other i have seen and it is the 6.
