Shutter during acceleration

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. When cruising at low RPM, between 1500 and 2000, upon slight acceleration, the car has a shutter or shaking feeling. If I press the accelerator, the car down shifts and it goes away and pulls as it should. It only happens with very light press on the gas. BTW, its a 2012 2LS and I will be taking it in for service but just wondering if anyone knows what is causing this. Thanks

My camaro does this, it has something to do with the torque converter. i hear of guys getting their torque converter replaced under warranty and then a month later it does it again. so rather than me do that i just live with it until GM decides to do something about it like building a little better torque converter. just my opinion.

I get it too everyone once in a while on a light take off. Rather then pressing hard on the accelerator, i press lightly, and it feels like the car stutters until i pound the pedal

i have a 'stutter' at about 1650ish with light throttle (ls3). to me, it feels like fueling. Because the rpms sit right there in top gear at 65ish, I am guessing it is lean spot for emmissions testing. no doubt the flaw could be tuned out with a mapping.

That would be the car bogging down. You aren't pressing the gas enough to make the computer downshift the trans, so it bogs the motor. Put your foot in it and it should shift down to an appropriate gear. I'm not sure this is a problem, more of just possibly a quirk of the car. But there again, I had the LS3 so I don't have a computer to shift for me.

2 issues in this thread... 1, the converter stumble in the L99 cars, and 2, the short stutter in the LS3 usually caused by a vacuum leak.
