Fuel fragrance

I have seen these but I have never tried any of them, ive thought about ordering a couple of these to use them during cruise nights or car shows. They come in several different "flavors", has anyone here used them?

So with these, you are actually encouraging people to smell your exhaust? or huff the gas? Don't see a point

Never heard of this before...You actually throw this in your gas tank? Is that safe for the engine?

It says that its safe for your engines, just says not for vehicles with catalytic converters

I use to run grape fragrance in all my derby cars. That engine was a full roller 355 with fully ported polished heads and intake, noisy timing gear. Screaming beast. I was running 100LL airplane fuel, used the top end lube fuel fragrance with it.

I have seen and smelled these but they are used with E85. They are amazing actually. I am not sure how it would work with Gasoline.

I dont think thats the purpose.

If you attend cruise nights you are gonna smell exhaust whether you like it or not. The first time I smelled them was at a cruise night, everytime this certain muscle car would cruise by me I would smell grape. I asked a buddy what the smell was and he told me about these. Just thought it was cool, I guess im weird.

It was developed for alcohol fuels for racing. Alcohol is very dry and you lose all the lubrication that you get with a racing gas. Some of these top end lubes also help to curb the acidic effect alcohol has on aluminum engine parts. If you run this in your car I would suggest not leaving it sit in your fuel tank or fuel system for a long period of time, could clog up your injectors.

Works just fine. Takes more ounces of fragrance per gallon of gas than per gallon of alcohol. I learned in my experience with this stuff it takes more than whats recommended to actually get a fairly strong scent.
