Need Opinons

I just recently had my car supercharged by Rick @ J&R Performance. I just wanted to pick the brains of some of the more experienced forced induction guys on here. Rick had some excellent insight and knowledge but I always like getting multiple opinions. A full list of performance mods in in my sig. Thanks

What were you looking for specifically? I didn't see a question anywhere? Are you just looking for "atta boys" from your mods? Not trying to be an a$$, comes naturally I guess, just trying to help you get what you are after.

Sounds like a supercharger and headers were bolted on to an otherwise stock engine. Should make for a fun daily driver. What kind of HP/TQ numbers did it put down?

Welcome to the forum, sounds like your on your way to a nice build. Don't let the smartass's and trolls on here deter you from here as there is a lot of good stuff on here.
I had J&R Performance build my 1LE, they do great work, super clean and runs great with no issues in almost 3 years. I've had all my work including oil changes done with them. Those guys really know Camaros.
How do you like the extra power? What else are you planning to do in the future? Post up some pics when you get a chance.
Good luck with your Camaro.

my bad on the CAI, I forgot to include that in my sig. I have a Rotofab. To elaborate, what direction do you guys think would be best mod wise? I could go more power, or more handling. I want to make more power, but at the same time I don't want to overpower what the suspension and brakes can handle. that I guess is where my dilemma lies. pics soon

Are you manual or auto?, i dont see them listed on you sig, more fuel is always a plus, rear end expecially if you plan to drag with slicks, and then if your a manual a clutch oops forgot trailing arms and toe rods

It's an Auto. Drag is the direction I plan to go

Drag racing at the track you will probably run into an issue, verts can only run up to 13.5s before they will require a roll cage, but I would start on more suspension upgrades, then a stall convertor, then possibly gears, after that more fuel upgrades to get more power, since your an auto you have a better chance on your rear surviving buy maybe others can give you tips on that aspect

What kind of power is it making now? I'm sure it's a real nice driving care. All I would do is get a set of light weight wheels, 18x12 in the rear and a good set of drag radials of your choice. Maybe a line lock and a better locker for the rear axel. You're set. You will have a car that is real fun to take down the 1/8th or 1/4 mile. If you want a little more, add a cam and a stall converter. You'll make a little more mid/top end power and the stall will get you a better 60' time.

For drag racing, you will definitely need to work on the rear suspension. These cars are known for serious wheel hop issues. Cradle bushings, toe rods, and trailing arms correct this. As others have mentioned, being an auto, you have a 3.27:1 rear end gear ratio, so a stall converter and line lock would serve you well. The light weight wheel recommendation is also sound advice, as well as some drag radials.
I'd probably look to upgrade both the rear-end and driveshaft if drag racing becomes a regular occurrence for you. The transmission is pretty reliable to about 650RWHP, if I recall correctly.
