Yea you won't get a 15+ HP increase from just a catback system. Changing headers to Longtubes can give you that, shorties will give you up to 10 HP gain.

That is at 5500 rpm and not peak. The gain at peak is likely half of that...trust me Ive seen my share of dyno sheets and exhausts lol. Whether its headers, CAI, or exhaust, they always seem to do the best right around that RPM...2nd and 3rd mod won't yield as much as the first but you get the picture.

You can rest assured that the MRTs are delivering gains as well. Are they as big as flowmaster at that RPM?...not sure, but honestly if you are going for performance over sound you need to be looking at cold air intakes and long tube headers. Number one reason for exhaust should be sound, as none of them perform much better than the next. I know I wouldn't pick up a crappy sounding exhaust just to gain 3 more horse over something that sounds good.

YEP, 4-5 WITH AXELBACK AT PEAK,CATS AT 6-7?. Most seem to make the most at 5200-5500, funny thats where some mfg's use to state what they make to look good.
