I received my kit yesterday. I have a 2011 LS. Please tell me if I'm reading the information correctly.

The LS does not have power for the camera from the mirror wiring harness. There is a red wire looped out of Ofer's harness about 20" from where it plugs into the camera. I use this red wire to tap into the green wire on a reverse light, and make all other connections mentioned?

Got the kits in today (installing one in my wife's Malibu as well as my Camaro); will get started tomorrow. I'm done doing work today, it being my birthday and all.
