I have seen more than one car lacking color in that area.
Most noticible on the yellow.
Made several salepeople and my wife stand on their heads to see what I was talking about. They finally said "Oh yeah, I see." They may have just been trying to get me to shut-up.

Looks like the last bumper painted friday at quitting time, aka Beer Thirty It does suck but you can't notice it until it's pointed out, I missed it first time. I thought it was the gap between the headlight lens and corner of the bumper If your painting the stripes black tape off the lights and black it out. Good Luck

Where would you stop the black? What part would you paint black?

Sorry...as anal-retentive as I am...there is no such thing as flawless when it comes to vehicles. I bet if you check every 1/64th of an inch that you would find a flaw or 10. 98% of my family resides in Alabama...next time I'm over there I could come pick-it-apart for you

I liked the look of the LS7, I just wish they had blacked out the rear deck lid as well...

If my car weren't already black, this is definately what I would be going for when it comes to exterior appearance...

I thought you were talking about the rear tailight area, Had a brain cramp looking at the LS7 can have that effect.

If you can't see it, you need a better monitor. In the corner, it's basically missing paint and you can see the black primer underneath.

Bumper fascias are supplier to GM by Flex-n-Gate and are sequenced to the assembly plant already painted.

On a similar note - for those of you who ordered metallic paint finishes - make sure to take an extra critical eye to paint matching between the body (painted at Oshawa) and the rest of the painted exterior components-fascias, rockers, spoiler, ditch molding, door handles, mirrors (painted at supplier plants).

Color harmony is an industry-wide challenge, especially in cases where there are mulitple suppliers providing painted parts.

I just checked mine for this. I have the same problem... missing some paint up in that little corner... SH*t. Oh well. I have to take the car back for stripes, the gfx, and plates anyways. Hopefully they give me a rental car or a lot loaner.
