Spectre Performance Intake
Does anyone have their intake for our Camaro installed either V8 or V6. Found this video on youtube.
Looks good but haven't found any reviews. Thanks |

i want to get it few months ago coz this thing is cheap! i dont really care about hp gain as long as the engine will sound a bit better and improve gas mileage but i want to wait for more review first tho

There was a thread around here with a BUNCH of CAI's run side by side displaying the stats. That might help you if it was included. I saw it once at work, and when I got home I couldn't find it again. So be sure to link me if you run into it.

The best for the V6 is CAI Inc., Injen, airaid, or k&n. Lot of thread discussing them all. If I had the V6 I would get the CAI or injen

I've had it for a few months and L O V E it!!! Sound difference and butt dyno are HUGE!!!! If you have any questions feel free to ask away and I'll let you know what I know.
My car is the one they used for photo promo's and the instruction manual. This Camaro was having issues and didn't put down the numbers that mine did.

Hmmm. Solid metal and it sits behind the headlight. Can we say heat soak?
People need to stop wasting their money on these hot air intakes and buy something that goes down in the fender and actually picks up colder air. |

My purpose is to clean up the engine compartment and maybe improve sound and add a couple of hp. Here in Arizona there isn't cold air anywhere near my car. 110 degrees plus outside, my whole car has "heat soak" from sitting outside while I am at work. Plus I am not partial to the plastic intakes, but that is my personal preference. To each his own I say |
