when you removed the felt was the engine noise louder? Just curious as that felt is probably there for sound or heat control

BMR Front sway bars & tie rods ordered. I wil get these installed at the same time as my headers & tune! This concludes the performance upgrades portion of this build. Now on to appearance mods! Thanks Chase!

Thanks for your order. Did you ever do lowering springs?

No, that worries me. Clearance on these things is already so limited. I don't want to drag the bottom on something. Do you think that makes a difference other than appearance?

C'mon, it is a weekend toy! These 5th Gens have so much more clearance than the 4th Gens. Lowering springs definitely have a performance benefit. They lower the cars center of gravity and increased spring rate creates roll resistance.

Yeah but I still have to drive it in the country, & in the city, & occasionally not be able to miss a big pothole or a steep exit out of a parking lot. I have watched some of those guys scrape their Camaro noses or side ground effects as we cruise around.
But Okay................................I guess I need to save up another what, $250ish...........................THEN the paint job.

Just do it. Totally makes the look 100% better.
I scrape every time I pull in the driveway. It doesn't bleed. |

I think I would bleed!!!
First I have to save up for this installation. With all the unexpected expenses we have had lately it does not look like I will have my headers installed in time for the Spring Fling! Plus they have still not released the HP tune. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
