Oh, sorry, I am thinking of getting one of the lifts. It looks like it will work where I do not have the head room.

Skylane765,

I just saw your product on the website for the first time and it looks great. The only thing I am not clear about is if I lift the car by the pinch welds where do the jack stands go? When I lift my Equinox, I lift the car on the front cross member so I can put the jack stands on the pinch welds.

I raise my car by the pinch welds using some of the Jack pads and place the stands on the cradle in the front. I can't get my Jack to reach the cradle because I have a 1LE with the splitter going out farther than my Jack can reach. In the rear I use the differential to raise and use the Jack stands at the rear pinch welds. I've done this many times with no problems.
