Anyone used a front sway from a 14 or 15 ss?

Curious if anyone has tried the front sway bar from the 14 or 15 ss on their 14 or 15 1LE. I am looking to get rid of some more understeer and I know I can go with a stiffer rear bar at the expense of drivability on the street or I can go with a softer bar up front for the same result and maybe even slightly better drivability on the street. I've heard about trying the ZL1 front sway bar but never heard anything about trying the regular SS sway bar. I'm pretty sure it's even a little softer than the ZL1 bar. Looking for anyone who has first-hand experience with it. Thanks

I have heard that stock SS front sway bar and 1LE rear bar is a great neutral setup or vice versa 1LE front bar with 32mm rear bar. I'm sure JPSS will chime in soon enough.

A 5mm difference between front an back is optimal according to Pete, I'm looking for a front 1LE bar so I can run a JPSS rear 32mm same 5mm difference just bigger. I have a 2010 SS bar if you interested we could trade with a little cash to you.

rear bars have driveability issues on the street? I haven't noticed anything in ride quality change with my JPSS 32mm rear bar. I have noticed only positives.

Same here. My 32mm JPSS bar has been great. That paired with his alignment specs really helped dial out a lot of the push. You can still induce understeer if you don't do your part as the driver, but the car is so much better balanced now. There were no negatives to the work at all. Ride quality is the same.

  • Driving Nannies: If I'm that far out of shape on the street, something has gone terribly wrong and by all means Mr. Computer man, come and get me.
  • G2s: Rock throwing is like like a tramp stamp; although problematic, it's a sign of good things to come.

I didn't think the 2010-13 front bar fit on a 14/15? I already have a front bar I got online. I got it for super cheap so I was either going to try it out or sell it on here. Hopefully, it doesn't make the front of the car too soft on the track.

Let me know if you wanna sell your 1LE front bar.
