i know there goinna most likley charge 5k over msrp which is a joke but most dealers in south florida will be over msrp at least for a little bit ...

Wow.. that sucks... im still waiting on mine (like most others)... however, when I called around last Oct/Nov, Roger Dean salesman DID tell me $5000 OVER invoice... I may have to wait a week or two.more, but ill gladly wait for $50 over INVOICE pricing!!!!

The sales manager at the Maroone Chevy Dealership in Ft. Lauderdale told me that they do not sell above MSRP on any car on the lot. It might be worth a phone call. If you need his name and info, send me a PM and I will get back with you tomorrow. I would be curious to see if he was telling the truth.

Roger Dean tried to charge over sticker for a v6 with 900miles on it 7 months ago and camaro's have been out awhile ... they try and get over because there in the middle of west palm i have a great dealer in tallahassee and if im in west palm i take my car to Schumacher (MSRP + MOD FRIENDLEY they will install a S/C if yhou want!!)

I just don't get it
Tiffs car was built just a few cars before mine, Callaway Chris had his built about 8 days before either or ours,
We've got a list of 27 folks with VIN's issued (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128800) but not shipped.

Many of those cars were built prior to the vin Tiff showed.
How does GM decide which cars get shipped when?
I'm starting to think the QC check on our cars did not go well at all, and they are totally rebuilding them.
I'm starting to move toward the Anger stage of this process. Maybe it would have been better not to know my car was built.

Thanks Oldjedi, but mines already built and (supposedly) left the factory on 2/16... im paying.just over invoice from.Starling Chevy in St Cloud.

On a side note- I checked Roger Deans web site; no.convertibles in their inventory, likewise, a GM search yeilded only 3 within 150 miles of me, none of which were at Roger Dean (40 miles away...)

The pricing will settle back, just like it did after the PT Cruiser and Mazda Miata hype bubbled down. Heck, I got a GM mailer recently offering an "extra $1000" in GM card points on the Camaro coupes. Ultimately, after the novelty wears off, these are merchandise items the company wants to move.

Just saw one this weekend in person -B __________________ 2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
