Caution - I would not use a pressure washer if you have a convetible top.

I'm a fan of the 2-bucket hand wash, then blow dry with a leaf blower. No swirl marks in alomost 6 months of ownership.

I have not used my home pressure washer on the Camaro yet. I will though. I used it on my previous vehicles to remove bugs and clean the wheel wells and tires and then rinse off the painted surfaces. I then use the two bucket method to wash the car and then rinse with the hose or pressure washer if I am too lazy to pull the hose off it.

I will use a car wash from time to time as well. I agree the soap there removes wax pretty quickly though so I have to wax more often if I use it often. Also, I would never wax or polish my paint unless I hand washed it first. Even the car wash will leave some dirt on the paint.

I bring a wash mit when I go to the pressure washers. I just hold it down with it on soap/water and wash it like I would with a reg hose.

Why not put your money where your mouth is.

Don't wait 2 hours as you go out and fix a spot, post up right now and let's see just how ridiculous improper paint maintenance actually is. Pick different areas of your car's paint and let's see how good it actually looks...

From 20 feet away, EVERYTHING looks good. Case in point:

Looks good right? Now let's see what it looks like from TWO feet away with a BUNCH of light shown into the paint:

That's a totally different ugly, huh! Now it can be fixed and that's what I did because that's what I do...

So do you want to fire the flash off into your paint like the pictures I posted earlier, or do you want to continue taking the blue pill and believing whatever you want to believe?

I will be happy to take a pic down the side of my car next time I wash it. Drying a car after a pressure washer don't cause swirls in the paint. Dirty mitts and dirty shammies do. Whoever washed the car dint do it right. Must be one of them people who use the same mitt on the wheels and the body. And wax will take swirls right out in the first place. Scratch X will remove them also you can get a bottle of that for a few bucks. Yes I see your very proud you wash cars. Know one knows your secrets but you....

First off, wax is a protectant. It does not remove swirls or scratches. Second, I don't have any secrets when it comes to paint correction as I completely share everything that I do to fix paint within the over 120 videos that I have posted on You Tube. They are also posted within this forum. The fact that you can't go out right now and do a shot of your paint as I have posted and your opinion of what wax does tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge in this area of study. I'm about posting the correct information for those who don't know so I always chime in when someone is posting bum scoop. The last thing I want to see is someone wh doesn't know being led astray by inaccurate information.

Next time, use the macro function to take close up pictures. That makes them come out in focus.

Now how does that OTC junk you're using actually work? It's called FILLERS. That product FILLS IN scratches and swirls, not remove them. Did you read what you underlined carefully? It says "virtually eliminates FINE swirls and MICRO scratches." Do you know what virtually means? It means almost but NOT. In other words, it doesn't really remove anything but it fakes you into believing that it does by attempting to cover up the fine swirls and micro scratches. That stuff is worthless on the type of damage found in most people's paint who follow your practices. And you do this on the side?

Man, this is like shooting fish in a dried lake bed.
