I have been monitoring like 3 dealerships by me. They have a variety of ls lt an ss models.

one dealership has had the same 5 cars for 3-4 months
one dealership sold 2 out of 17
one dealership has had the same 2 for 2-3 months.

all dealers asking msrp

I know it's winter but whats up ? Do you think the initial surge is over or is it people not wanting to spend their money b/c of the economy ?

Whaddayall think?

The same is true here in Tennessee. The two local dealers (Alexander and Walker) are selling MSRP or below and they both have 4-5 cars on their lot unsold any given week. Like everyone expected, the supply seems to have caught up with the demand in most areas.

Pinebelt in Eatontown has been moving them, but it seems to be very slowly.

Also, the fact that they usually have 4-5 on their lot at any given time and are still asking for $3,000-$5,000 over sticker probably isn't helping.

And with the amount of snow we've gotten over the past two months surely isn't goign to help. I expect sales to pick up a little before Memorial Day

Utah is the same. My dealer has 17 Camaros last time I checked. All flavors.

I paid sticker back in March 09 when I ordered- hard to believe cannot get better deals with them sitting on lots?

Are they really letting people walk out if you offer $1000-2000 off sticker?

i got my 1ss/rs for 32,500 here in bergen county ( i think that was a pretty good price). that was in December, still waiting for the car to get here.

i think it depends on the area/dealership. the snow aint helping either.

As the majority are SS and LT RS I'm sure the summer Pirellis have a lot to do with it - having to immediately buy all-seasons or performance snows adds another $1,000-$1,500 immediately or park - it for two more months. If they wait then they'll strongly consider the 2011 model begining production in April.

A reduction in demand should've been expected.

This time of year has the slowest sales. Very good if you are looking.
