Picked mine up from Classic Sugar Land last Thursday. They were great! Plus it helped that I work right around the block from them. Anyway it took 10 weeks and 3 days from order date to my driveway. I highly recomend the sales team here. Way different than it was a couple of years ago when it was Bill Heard.

No Eric, 9 days does not equal 2 weeks, 14 days does. Another concept Classic Grapevine does not understand. Back at ya! Oh my bad, that's that start of week 2 again between 2 and 3 weeks. It's a little thing called Under Promise Over Deliver. And belive me Bankston had EVERYTHInG to do w/ how fast your car arrived Oh wait no they didnt! Yes, most cars are taking just under 14 days to arrive (once they finally leave Cananda), however there have been a few cars that for an unknown reason were held up in Mesquite for about 4 extra days that would put us in to week 3.

I'm sorry that you feel you were mis-treated or unfairly abused, but TRUST me you are the exception. I would say that Bankston is our number one referral customer for that reason!

SS-Eric- I ordered from classic- I was wondering if I could get an update maybe by friday- My sales person is off on thursdays and fridays I believe (e is wonderful- I'm not complaining)- I was just hoping you could tell me if it had shipped? I have been sitting in Canada waiting for a ride since 10-2. No stripes.
I just want to get shipped before the holiday!!!

The dealer has nothing to do with how fast your car is delivered. Where did you hear that? Also, you didn't say anything about your experiences other than you stated that you got screwed. I'm not sure if you noticed, but this thread has nearly 900 posts. Most of which are from happy customers, and I see 4 posts in the Bankston thread. This tells me that Classic is not only getting more business, but their customers are walking away happy.

I am one of those happy customers. I can say from the time I walked into the dealership, everyone went out of their way to help. Just as an example, Eric isn't even my salesman, but he has answered all of the questions I've sent him through email, and made sure everything was running smooth with my order. To top it off, he even came to a Camaro meet during his lunch break to hang out, and used a coupon to feed everyone. While Bankston may be a fine dealership, I took my order to Classic because they are the best.

Also, that 750 doesn't look like much considering GM is giving away $500 to opt out of the return policy. My guess is that you paid MSRP, unless you weren't including the return rebate. I got mine at Supplier - $500 which is about 1500 off from Classic. Bankston at one time wasn't accepting discounts, but I can't speak for that today.

My wife and daughters bake great cookies and pies. But I've never smoked crack so I can't compare.
