Exhaust vibrating
Hey guys, I have a 2010 2ss camaro m6 and I am hearing a very loud vibrating sound coming from in or around the exhaust. I have installed an x pipe, and an slp muffler delete kit and that's it. Any idea what this vibration could be? I hear it letting the clutch out in 1st and then 2500-3500 rpms in every gear. I think the exhaust could be lose or the heat shield is hitting it. Help!

Similar thing happened to me after getting HF cats installed, guys on here said it was the tunnel brace, and that's exactly what it turned out to be. Could be a loose clamp or something too...

With mine they just loosened it, moved it back a little so it wasn't touching the exhaust then tightened it back up.

Or, you can take the bolts out of the tunnel brace and put in washers to get it away from the pipes. Hope you figure it out, good luck.

Yep, most likely the tunnel brace. I would take it back to whoever installed your X pipe and have them fix it.

Had borla s type installed and had the same thing. I installed the hotchkis chasis brace and found the tunnel brace was rubbing on the exhaust. About a 16th away from it. Drove me nuts
