Very great goal! I wish you the best of luck!!!

This is how society sees it at least
The last two times I was pulled over the officer talked more about my car than why I was being pulled over. No ticket either time. (Wasn't driving the Camaro)

+1! As a service member myself, I love you for that and hope you reach your goal sooner rather than later.

Nothing at the moment. I retired after 22 years, 2 months, and 7 days in the Marine Corps. Start career #2 in 10 days though as a defense analyst.

Nice! What does your IT firm specialize in?

I'm a Computer Technician in a nutshell. I work for a community college. There's 3 of us in the department, I'm the youngest. Funny story, I just received Staff Employee of the Year a couple months ago. I'm pretty sure I'm not only the youngest person to get the award, but I got it only working there since August 2010, 18 months.

I repair computers, (laptops & desktops), clean them up after infection, and I also build computers. I also create websites (well two so far), and I do all of the above in my spare time for about twice the amount an hour of what I make at the college. (Hint, I don't get paid much at the college, unfortunately. (College Recruiter makes more than me!!!)

What the heck, I'll post some pictures since I like to document my builds. These are client builds I do in my spare time.

This was a build for my friend (no charge)

Client PC Build #1

Client Build #2

Finally, my computer!

I do electrical work on brand new fire apparatus. Been so for 4 years now this summer. Pretty neat gig. I've work on trucks that went all over the US and a few different countries. Always something new.

Here is one of our newest trucks in action:

Coolest part is, I was able to take a ride in one of our trucks from New Jersey to deliver it to fleet in Queens and then bring back another new truck of ours for a little touch up. Best work trip ever.
