Anyone hear from TPH on this? I sent new calipers to get coated and got them back beautiful but with blasted bleed screws. I sent them a couple PM's and havent heard anything

Not long ago i sent my calipers to Kevin at TPH for powder coating. One caliper that was sent was trashed, why, because the bleeder valve was seized. Using heat and other means it would not free without bringing threads out with it. Found another caliper that got the job done. But it was a lesson learnt!

When I got my calipers back I removed all eight bleeders and with a dremel tool wire brush I cleaned them extremely well, taped off the threads and the open end and sprayed them with flat black POR15. They came out like new and I believe the POR15 will hold up much longer.

Once that was completed and dried I purchased a bottle of "speed bleeder thread sealant, cost was $13.55 shipped. Small bottle that has a brush like a finger nail polish brush. You put a thin coat on the majority of the threads (leave the first 1 or 2 threads clear so they will start easily) then with the wife's hair dryer blow the warmest air you can get over the threads for one minute. DONE, no leaks and will not seize up on you. I will post two pictures, one of the bottle of sealant and the other a generic speed bleeder that has been coated with the sealant.

I finally heard back from TPH Yesterday but after waiting almost 2 weeks I had already ordered new Bleed Screws to replace the blasted ones.
