Done on the Dynojet at Mike Norris Motorsport after he installed the VMax TB.
267.0 rwhp with 244.0 torque. You can see the before and after results with the TB install.
Only mods I have are the VR, Flowmaster AT axle back and the VMax TB. The car pulls hard as hell when you get on it, real hard!

Hrmmm....AFR should be in the 11 to 12 range typically. Your description makes it sound like your really talking about LTFTs instead of AFR.

Does a wide band display results differently or something.....like say the wideband would display a 1.3 while the dyno reading would display an 11.3?

Sorry, just trying to learn here lol.

They are both options on my wide band, I am not sure what the measurement is.

How are you measuring your AFR? When you say 1 equal perfect I will take that as you mean 1 equal stoich, which stoich(14.7) is 1 in lambda and 1 in eq ratio. When you say 1.3 I think you are looking at it as eq ratio which should be something like low 11's in AFR. Unless you are running a specific tuner program that value air/fuel as eq ratio or unless you was running ethanol it would be much easier to just read AFR.

What wideband are you using?

you can't dyno vararam lol. Don't ask me why but according to vararam you will not see any proper gains on a dyno. There are a like 2 peoples who dynoed with vararam here and both ended up with less power on the dyno. It certainly does work on the road though it seems...

I'd say yes...I've seen some nice times reported with the Vararam..(or, at least good times considering the bad DA they were ran in).

Do I have the evidence to back this up...nope, and I don't feel like searching for it either lol.

Also, I'm almost positive besides the magical run that Vararam put down on the dyno while testing their intake, that there was another impressive run. I could have sworm that RX performane....ummm...or maybe it was Hypertech tuning....ran a Vararam equipped car as a base and it also dynoed very well.

What is strange is that there are more dynos that don't look good for the VR than there are good ones.

That said, I have no doubt in my head my car pulls stronger now than it did with the AirRaid I had before.

I don't know if anyone have made a comparison run with just vararam, and come to think of it I wonder why anyone haven't done this and not even vararam I can only go by feel I guess, but comparing with my AEM long neck CAI and vararam, the vararam definitely feel stronger pass 80mph and I guess we all know why that would be the case.

OK, so I just happened to come across that other great Vararam dyno I know I had seen before so I decided to post it up!

277rwhp and 253rwtq
Why the VR seems to dyno not so good in some cases and good in others...I have no clue. This is the baseline dyno from Tracey's RX supercharger project which he claimed was very good for the minimal mods done:

Me and you both, but we know the VR does what it's suppose to do which is a good thing. I seen that dyno graph tracy posted but thought it was done with CAI intake and exhaust I guess I was wrong lol.

I think countryman gotten the same exact 277rwhp on the dyno too when he dynoed with vararam but I believe he dynoed on a mustang, and when I asked tracy about the dyno he said the dyno was from a smaller model dynojet so I believe it must of have been the 224. I remember when gopaul had dynoed his vararam and showed the ridiculously low number it was from a 248x, I know this because rolnslo had told me that he had used the same shop which use the same 248x and he had also gotten a very low stock number.

248x just produces some ridiculously low numbers.
