The dyno guy noted my intake is really loud.

Time for a new one. Not CAI because I hate how they look. Thinking maybe Airaid, Roto-Fab or Vararam but don't know if I want to move the radiator for Vararam..

The Airaid and Roto-Fab are both excellent systems. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions.

You really don't move much of anything with the VR....you may tilt it forward just a bit...but trust me...there are no worries about that. The worst part is making sure the intake is staying put and your air inlet gap isn't closing off. Past that its golden. I do love my VR...it pulls hard on the road.

But really you may just want to look into an air scoop for your BBK if the bottom portion is open. I think CAI makes a scoop (and probably others) and so if that works you may be good (and cheapest) going that route.

Will that eliminate how loud it is though? It whistles like crazy too.

ooh....well no a scoop probably won't change how loud it is. As for the whistling....it could possibly change that since you have more airflow coming in a different direction, but I can't really say for sure on that one.
