It can happen to any car! Sucks you paid so much for it. Hopefully you take it in and get her back in less than a day! I was really worried when I started reading and you was stating you was having problem after problem then it was just one problem! Give them a break it's 1st year for new Camaro and there always got bugs to get tweaked out! But that's why you get a warranties! Anyways good luck hopefully you get her fixed quick and won't have problem after problem like you stated you was having! Like someone else had stated Triton is Ford motors you are not actually some ford guy who's on here posting your having all these problems trying to sabotage the Camaro name by bad mouthing these sweet cars! Hope not! If story true good luck hope this is only problem with your cammy!

here is a thread on it. I hope you find it useful. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41692

Yes, take it to your Chevy dealer and have them perform the test outlined in the bulletin. Good luck.

Well there's the problem. The time machine jacked everything up on the way back!

Whatever, his only contribution to C5 was a few whiny posts showing a search ineptitude clear back in April. Then he comes on here griping about "Problems after problem" when he has one fairly minor and well-known bug and get royally pissed cause someone observed his username is a Ford engine...

Not really a loss to the community.

Mine has 1600 miles on it and it did the exact same thing when I got on it hard from a dead stop. I took it out the next day and tried to duplicate the problem, did 4 burnouts and then I parked the car in the garage and revved it to 4ooo RPM and held it there and it wouldn't smoke. I feel if I take it to the dealer, they will say they can't duplicate the problem.

2SSRS, I understand your points and I whole heartedly agree with you. I think this was a little different. The thing that is missing is the way the OP lashed out at another member. It wasn't pretty and while I can't say that there weren't some jacked up responses, there was nothing that warrantied his response. Those few comments have been edited out of the thread.

EXHAUST SMOKE

Take it to your dealer. You have over-aggressive lifters.
