One month later and no response. Too bad, that would be a nice setup.

Not sure about Facebook, but yes, I think he charges $1300 to start... I have the control unit he uses, but I don't know if I have the DIY knowledge to do SMD LEDs on a custom PCB.

Those are nice. Im going with something more simple. Being able to see individual leds irritates me for some reason lol. They would probably look more awesome if they were diffused. And if $1300 is the price thats crazy.

Vacations are important, and so is time spent with the family. Looking forward to that DIY guide!

They look awesome but what about the normal lights? We have the blinker where you guys have the reverse light.

So one thing. (and anyone is free to chime in)The 12v on the harness that feeds the led board must be low current. When I try to tie the new blinker strip into it, they dont function properly.Im not sure if this is only the case on the led tails. We need 3 things... 12v on with the car, 12v when you turn on headlights/taillights, blinker 12v (on/off). So since i cant pull the 12v from the tail harness the closest thing to me is the license plate light wire which is in the bumper and pretty easy to access.Which usually gets 12v just like when your taillights come on. The blinker wire is easy, thats on taillight harness.
